It is only a few minutes walk to the Old City Center where one will find a variety of shops, restaurants, cafes, museums, art galleries and so on. The Parliament building, the City hall and the Old Harbour are in a five minutes walk. The largest church in Iceland, Hallgrímskirkja is in a 20-minutes walk away and it takes about fifteen minutes to walk to a really nice swimming pool. The apartment is in a Family House right in the heart of the old part of Reykjavik, located in a quiet residential area. Parking in the street is free and there is very little traffic in the street.
