One of my bedrooms is available in my newly refurbished Budapest apartment just 15 minutes from the city center. Guests are also welcomed to use the living room, kitchen, dining room, bathroom and the balcony (smoking is only allowed here). The area is quiet and safe, shops, supermarkets and great public transportation access to the city center (15 minutes from Heroes Square). The whole building is relatively new, but recently been recently been refurbished (2016). The apartment is on the 3rd floor which is accessible by both elevator and stairs. It is furnished and fully equipped, guests are allowed to use anything. High speed internet, cable tv and other utilities are included in the renting fee. I also live in this apartment but working 9 to 5 every weekday. Usually out travelling during the weekends. If my time allows I am usually happy to show around the city for guests. The district sees considerable new development of condos and is a favorite destination of young middle-class families. Some of the main attractions in the districts are: Hősök tere (Heroes square), Széchenyi Fürdő (Széchenyi Bathhouse), Városliget (City park), Vajdahunyad vára (Vajdahunyad Castle), Fővárosi Állatkert (The Budapest Zoo), + a number of museums. The northern part is accessible with the old M1 subway line (oldest metro line in continental Europe).
