Studio apartment: A fully furnished studio apartment that has a tranquil atmosphere, located in the heart of Utrecht! When you enter the apartment, you will first arrive in the kitchen. In here you will not only find the kitchenware and equipment, such as an oven, microwave, large fridge, kettle and an induction hob, but also the combo washer dryer, which is intended for your use only. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, a hand-wash basin and a toilet. The combined living-sleeping area contains a decent extendable 4 persons bamboo dining table. Furthermore, this room contains a smart 4k TV (including Netflix), some storage space and a comfortable queen-sized box spring bed, which is placed at the back-end. Towels and bedding are also included. Location: It really is a top-notch location! The studio is located in a studio-apartment complex, in the neighborhood ‘Wittevrouwensingel’, which is one of the most popular and exclusive neighborhoods in Utrecht’s city center. Retail stores, restaurants and cafes, which add to the vibrancy of Utrecht’s city center, surround the studio apartment. One side of the this street runs along the ‘Stadsbuitengracht’ canal, on the other side you will see an old jail called ‘Penitentiaire Inrichting Wolvenplein’, which has been turned into a unique concept called ‘The Free Wolf’, which organizes sports events, tours dining experiences and it even has an escape room! Also, the apartment is only a 20minute walk away from Utrecht Central Station. Shared responsibility: We have a shared responsibility regarding the residence’s maintenance. We deliver a clean room with all the furniture you need, therefore we expect you to handle this with care. Finance: The price includes: gas, water, electricity, Internet and Netflix. Please be aware there will be a one-time fee of €250 for the entire stay. Check in/out date: as stated in the contract, the rental period starts either on the 1st day of the month or on the 15th (2nd half) of the month. This means that if you, for example, book a room for the 3rd of February onwards, your contract will start on the 1st of February. By all means, the tenant may move in on the starting date of the lease. The monthly rental fee includes (fixed) advance payments for water, gas and electricity charges. If you do not overuse the electricity, then you will not have to pay extra. However, if the consumption of energy is higher than the standard, then you will be responsible for the additional fee. Also, if you choose to pay the rent six months in advance, you will get two weeks for free. Additionally, if you choose to pay the rent one year in advance, you get a whole month for free!
