Your apartment loft: This private space is located on the top floor of the house. It is a very spacious, luxurious loft. The room is equipped with a premium quality double bed and also with the facilities that are needed in order to study. The room includes towels and bedding. There is also a lock on the door, so you will be able to safely lock the door whenever you go out. The building: This residence was built in 2015, and was made with high-quality materials, which meets with our high standards. The walls and floors are soundproof and well insulated to prevent heat loss. In addition to that, all floors are equipped with floor heating systems, which contribute to a very comfortable living throughout the house. In front of the house, there are free parking lots, and you will be able to stall your bike over there. When you enter the building, you will instantly see a spacious, open-plan kitchen and living room with a wide-angled view over the backyard. The living room is furnished with a comfortable couch and a TV in the front side and the kitchen is in the backside, provided with all kinds of kitchenware and equipment, such as an oven, a large fridge and an induction hob, are intended for your use only. When you go upstairs (1st floor), you will see the bathroom, which contains a walk-in shower and a toilet. The backyard has a lounge area and comes with a barbecue set, which you can use during spring/summer. Location: The residence is located in a relatively new and quiet neighborhood with access to everything; a 5min bike ride to the shopping mall, which contains two supermarkets; a 10min bike ride to the city center; lastly, several restaurants and a large cinema are within walking distance. Shared responsibility: We have a shared responsibility regarding the residence’s maintenance. We deliver a clean room with all the furniture you need, therefore we expect you to handle this with care. Once a week, a cleaning service will stop by to take care of the regular cleaning tasks in the common areas. We do this because we are aware of the fact that you are rather busy doing other things in this wonderful country and we want to make sure that we keep up with our high standards inside the residences. However, you do need to take out the garbage, do the dishwashing and maintain your own room. Finance: The price includes: gas, water, electricity, Internet, Netflix (if available), weekly cleaning and city hall taxes. Please be aware there will be a one-time fee of €250 for the entire stay. Check in/out date: as stated in the contract, the rental period starts either on the 1st day of the month or on the 15th (2nd half) of the month. This means that if you, for example, book a room for the 3rd of February onwards, your contract will start on the 1st of February. By all means, the tenant may move in on the starting date of the lease. The monthly rental fee includes (fixed) advance payments for water, gas and electricity charges. If you do not overuse the electricity, then you will not have to pay extra. However, if the consumption of energy is higher than the standard, then you will be responsible for the additional fee. Also, if you choose to pay the rent six months in advance, you will get two weeks for free. Additionally, if you choose to pay the rent one year in advance, you get a whole month for free!
